Senior Developer

What we’re looking for

We're looking for a talented Full stack Ruby on Rails developer with SaaS experience (ideally enterprise) to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a major role in shaping IAND in our next phase of growth. This is a fast paced, exciting environment so you will be keen to learn new skills while you grow with the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Being hands-on with coding using the appreciate tools and technologies

  • Championing Agile processes across the team

  • Being proactive in suggesting new tools, technologies and ways of working

  • Helping to scale a web application with a fast-growing user base

  • Ruby on Rails | React | Bootstrap

  • Heroku | Postgresql |  AWS

  • We are also excited to hear about other tech you think would be best to solve the problems we are tackling

 

Requirements

  • Experience developing a SaaS platform, ideally using Ruby/Rails, and JavaScript/React

  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby on Rails

  • Commercial experience with React or similar frameworks

  • Past experience in integrating with 3rd party data feeds

  • Past experience in scaling a web platform in a secure way

  • Excellent knowledge of debugging, refactoring, design patterns, and other programming practices

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work well in our very open and friendly environment​

  • Passionate about programming with a genuine interest in data

  • A desire to drive business growth through technical excellence

  • The ability to communicate with both technical & non-technical stakeholders

  • The ability to learn new skills and to adapt to changing business needs

  • Honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm
