Indigo & Limited trading as IAND ("IAND", "we" or "us") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy describes the data that IAND holds on our users and how we use and share that information. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through all iand.com websites; (including the IAND cloud platform) any IAND mobile apps; IAND’s e-mails, newsletters, and surveys; and IAND’s accounts on third party social networking sites.

Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By visiting iand.com you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted to this page, so please check back frequently to see any updates.

1. Information we collect

We collect different data depending on the nature of the use you make of our site and platform. Below we describe the data that we collect on different groups.

1.1 Information we collect about you

  • Contact information (e.g. a phone number or e-mail address)
    You might provide us with your contact information either through the use of our services, filling in a form on our website or through an interaction with one of our team.

  • Usage information and log data

    We collect usage information about you whenever you interact with our websites and services; or our e-mails and newsletters. This information includes the time and date of the interaction, the nature of the interaction, the originating IP addresses, internet service providers, operating systems being used, device type and any preferences you have set.

  • Information from cookies and data tags

    We use third party tracking services that employ cookies and data tags to collect data about who is visiting our sites, reading our e-mails (and who is finding them useful by clicking on links in them). More information on our use of Cookies can be found in our Cookie Policy.

  • Referral information

    If you arrive on an IAND website from an external source (such as a link from another website or email) then we record information about the source.

  • Third party information

    We collect personal information and data from third parties but only where you have given permission to those third parties to share your information or where you have made that information publicly available online.

1.2 Account holders

If you are a holder of an account on the IAND cloud platform then we collect and store additional information.

  • Registration and profile information

    We collect your name, e-mail address, password and details of your position, employer and in some cases a short pen portrait covering your skills and experience.

  • Usage information

    A key feature of the IAND cloud platform is that it maintains a complete audit trail of the activities that individuals carry out on the platform. This includes the date and time on which any actions are carried out. Actions include but are not limited to submission and approval of invoices, timesheets, documents, contract change requests, etc. as well as comments you make and supplier reviews that you complete.

We process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our site iand.com ("Our Site") or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you register to use Our Site whether as a supplier or customer, subscribe to our service, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on Our Site, create invoices on Our Site, or post other information on Our Site including but not limited to information regarding potential services you offer or seek and when you report a problem with Our Site. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial information (including bank account numbers), personal description, and information about your business and employees.

  • Information we collect on you. With regard to each of your visits to Our Site we may automatically collect the following information:

    • Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform; and

    • Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from Our Site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

We are also working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers). As part of our business processes, we may pass information to them about you and we may receive information about you from them.

    • to notify you about changes to our service or alerts relating to our system;

    • to inform you about other services we offer which we think you might benefit from. You can stop receiving promotional e-mails by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the e-mail;

    • to ensure that content from Our Site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;

    • to meet any legal requirements;

    • to request feedback on platform and service in order to improve our offering;

  • Information we collect about you. We will use this information:

    • to administer Our Site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;

    • to improve Our Site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;

    • to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;

    • as part of our efforts to keep Our Site safe and secure;

    • to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you;

4. Disclosure of your information


4.1. Unrestricted information
Any information that you provide for inclusion on a Public Area of the site such as a profile page will be available to any user who has access to that content.

We use the services of a number of third party service providers who provide hosting, development maintenance and other services for us. They may have access to personal data as a part of providing those services. We keep their access to the minimum reasonably required to carry out their services for us and we also require them to maintain confidentiality.

We make various forms of aggregated or otherwise non-identifiable data available to our users for various purposed including: compliance reporting; market benchmarking; or marketing purposes.

4.5. Change of ownership
In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

If IAND or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

5. Where we store your personal data
Where the data that we collect from you is transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") we check that the processor is compliant with the UK and European laws governing data storage and handling. In the case of transfers to the US we ensure that the organisation receiving the data complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to Our Site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. Our Site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. This policy may be updated from time-to-time and so we suggest that you visit this page periodically in order to stay aware of any changes. If we make a change to the policy we will inform users of the IAND platform. The continued use of any IAND services by platform users or others following an update of this policy indicates that they have read, understood and agreed to the current version of the policy.
