  • What support do you offer users?
We have platform guides, chat and video training available on IAND Academy. Otherwise, IAND's support desk can be contacted between 09:00 and 17:30. Both our support line 0203 886 0866 and our e-mail support@iand.com are staffed by members of the IAND core team.
  • What training is required?
The IAND platform is designed to be intuitive and clear and so most users don't require training to get going. We do however encourage new users to attend webinars or lunchtime training sessions in order that they can get the most from the platform.
  • Can your platform integrate with our other software packages?
The IAND platform can be integrated with other software packages. If this is of interest we would be keen to discuss this with you. Please contact us and we can look at how to take this forwards.
  • Do you integrate with finance packages?
The workflow for functions such as invoice management have been designed to complement rather than duplicate existing processes. If you would like to discuss integrations please contact us.
  • How much do third party integrations cost?
We assess this on a case-by-case basis. The cost will depend on both the developer time required to complete the integration and whether it is an integration that would be bespoke to yourselves.
  • Where is my data stored?
IAND physical infrastructure is hosted and managed within Amazon’s secure data centres and utilise the Amazon Web Service (AWS) technology. Amazon continually manages risk and undergoes recurring assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards. Amazon’s data centre operations have been accredited under ISO27001, 27017, and 27018. IAND uses the AWS centres in the UK and Ireland.
  • How secure is my data?
The AWS data centres have state-of-the-art physical security and access control systems. As a requirement of employment, all IAND employees undergo pre-employment screening which include reference checks. All staff are trained in the importance of data security and regular update training takes place. IAND uses HTTPS to protect sensitive data transmitted to and from app.iand.com. Client passwords are only stored in an encrypted form and so IAND staff have no access to these.
  • How robust is the IAND platform?
We have developed our platform using Heroku with robustness and scalability in mind from the outset. We have procedures in place to cope with outages of any elements of our system. We are notified of vulnerabilities through both internal and external assessments and apply appropriate patches and security fixes. We maintain redundancy to prevent single points of failure including the use of multiple data centres from which we can restore the platform in the event of an outage.
  • Who has access to my data?
Your profile on the marketplace may be read by all users of IAND. Only you and your staff have access to any sensitive or private data around specific opportunities except where you explicitly share it with clients or suppliers involved with a tender process. There is the option of setting user hierarchies for your team to control what level of access individuals have. In addition, the IAND team have access to your data but they only access documents that aren’t on the public marketplace with your express permission or at your request.
  • How do you manage personal information on my employees and my customer employees (GDPR)?
We only hold the minimum amount of supplier and client personal information required to deliver on contracts. This information is only held for the purposes of carrying out the contract and we never provide it to 3rd parties. We take our responsibilities with regards GDPR very seriously and have a ongoing programme running to ensure our continuing compliance. Should you have any specific questions relating to GDPR please contact us.
  • How can I get my data if I decide to stop using the platform?
Your data belongs to you throughout your time on the platform. Should you decide to stop using the platform we will provide your data to you as a .csv file together with uploaded files in their original format. For more information please contact us.
