In January IAND started work to implement our digital ecosystem management platform for the United Utilities Enterprise. Providing a single integrated way of working with suppliers across the 8 partners.

About the Enterprise
The United Utilities Enterprise is a key part of delivering the most ambitious transformation of water and wastewater infrastructure in the north west for over a century. It's responsible for over £3bn of major infrastructure in the region, including upgrades to wastewater treatment works and reducing storm overflow activations, protecting more than 500km of rivers and bathing waters. This is the largest spill reduction programme in the UK.
The Enterprise consists of 8 partners working alongside United Utilities - C2V, (a VolkerStevin/Jacobs joint venture), Costain, Jacobs, Murphy, Kier Group, Mott Macdonald Bentley, and MWH Treatment.

Creating an integrated supplier ecosystem
Powered by IAND’s strategic digital platform and aligned with the Project 13 model, The Enterprise operates on a single, transparent system that unites eight delivery partners and hundreds of suppliers under one shared purpose.
To meet operational goals and governance standards the UU Enterprise selected IAND to provide a unified, strategic digital solution to manage the supply chain across multiple partners.
In January IAND were appointed. Just 30 days later the IAND platform was live providing visibility across hundreds of potential suppliers - with 300 onboard and engaging with the UU Enterprise team - including 74 North West-based SMEs.
In just 30 days, the programme onboarded over 300 suppliers, saving 91 days in just six months for a three-person central team.
Saving time through workflow automations
Automated onboarding and compliance processes have eliminated manual bottlenecks and accelerated site mobilisation. Saving 91 days in just six months for a three-person central team. Powering collaboration both between partners & with the supply chain, it has already streamlined communications and provided transparency across the full team. Enabling the sharing of performance data and transparency on spend.
